Congressman Tom Marino Challenges Clinton On Foreign Policy

Today, Congressman Tom Marino (PA-10) highlighted Hillary Clinton's numerous foreign policy failures:

"Hillary Clinton may have a long resume, but it is filled with failed policies. She is a career politician who has long believed that she is above the law and unaccountable to the American people she seeks to disingenuously serve. As Donald Trump has stated, we are in desperate need of new blood on the foreign policy front. Hillary Clinton had a front row seat to Bill Clinton's foreign policy failures in countries like Somalia and Rwanda. She also spent the Bush years supporting neoconservative foreign policy principles -- including the invasion of Iraq. And as Secretary of State under the Obama Administration, her failures only grew to include her disgraceful handling of the attacks in Benghazi that resulted in the deaths of Americans.

Our country simply cannot afford another 4 years of failed foreign policies -- policies Hillary has helped to shape since the end of the Cold War.

Donald Trump is intent on putting America first. He will not pander to our enemies in exchange for empty promises. He will not bow to or high five foreign leaders. Mr. Trump will negotiate from a place of strength and he will bring new thinking to bear on the challenges we face. He is the only candidate running for president that has the ability to restore the respect we have lost over the last 7 years under President Obama."
